Job summary
PlayOn Sports, the MaxPreps division, seeks a Video Producer to own end-to-end video storytelling across editorial, social, studio, and sponsored content. You will concept, produce, edit, and deliver high-quality video at scale, collaborating with editorial, sales, programming, and production teams.
You’ll produce sponsored content, edit across formats, and create original storytelling for high school sports moments, communities, and athletes.
Qualifications
- 2 years+ in video production/editing preferred.
- Ability to produce and edit across formats (studio, podcasts, social).
- Strong storytelling with sponsor/commercial alignment.
Responsibilities
- Produce sponsored content from concept to delivery.
- Edit game recaps, player highlights, and VO-driven videos in Premiere Pro.
- Write scripts for short-form storytelling videos.
- Turn programming content into engaging video for MaxPreps and social platforms.
- Own distribution on YouTube/TikTok and assets for Instagram/X.
- Produce the MaxPreps Podcast starting 2026 season.
- Edit visuals and thumbnails in Photoshop; supervise freelancers.
- Travel to events to film/edit on-site when required.
- Be on camera and record voiceovers when needed.
- Monitor video performance and share insights for sponsorship strategy.
