Commenda is building its video operation and seeks a producer/editor to craft thought-leadership video. You will work with the CEO and leaders to shape a recurring show featuring founders, operators, economists, and policymakers.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of published video, ideally including social-first work.
• Fluency in professional editing software with fast turnaround.
• A commitment to craft: rigorous research, precise edits, and watchable work.
• Taste and judgment with ability to explain editorial choices.
• Editorial instinct to identify compelling stories and avoid stale clips.
• A network or capacity to bring people in for interviews or guest spots.
• Genuine interest in international affairs, business, economics, entrepreneurship, and technology.
• Background in journalism, documentary, podcast production, or motion graphics is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Produce video end to end, from booking and recording through editing, captioning, and publishing.
• Develop the show's format, segments, and guest strategy.
• Book guests and build lasting relationships with them and with customers/viewers.
• Turn long conversations into short-form clips for each platform, publish twice weekly.
• Write titles, hooks, and captions in collaboration with the writer.
• Occasionally appear on camera as host or co-host when it serves the show.
• Own the editorial calendar and publish at pace.
• Build AI-assisted workflows for transcription, rough cuts, captions, and repurposing.
• Measure reach, audience growth, and pipeline, and adjust strategy.
