Job summary

Pushkin Industries in NYC or LA is seeking a Video Producer/Editor on a contractor basis through 12/31/26. You will shape raw recordings into polished episodes (30–60 minutes) across multiple shows and help develop compelling story arcs and guest angles.

You must have 4+ years of video editing, strong YouTube fluency, and expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro. You will edit longform and short-form content, add music and sound design, and maintain a premium, brand-consistent feel.

Responsibilities

• Longform Video Production & Editing: Produce full-length video (30-60 minutes) for YouTube across multiple Pushkin shows, shaping raw recordings into polished episodes.
• Short-Form & Social Video: Identify and cut strongest moments for clips across platforms and formats.
• YouTube Strategy & Optimization: Write compelling titles/descriptions and optimize metadata for discovery and retention.
• Production & Collaboration: Manage parallel timelines, organize assets, and coordinate with show teams; use Adobe Creative Suite for post-production.
• Apply pacing and narrative instincts to create episodes with strong arcs and momentum.
• Layer music, sound design, and graphics to maintain a premium brand feel across shows.
• Collaborate with hosts and show teams to ensure edits reflect each show's voice.
