Job summary

Winston Staffing is recruiting a Video Producer, Animator & Editor for a leading global health and scientific research foundation based in NYC. The role blends video editing, motion graphics, and hands-on production to tell science and human impact stories in social-first formats.

Reporting to the Creative Director, you will craft narratives for Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, campaigns, and web, while shooting and directing on-site interviews and events in NYC 4 days per week.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of digital-first video production, editing, and motion design.
• Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects; Photoshop/Illustrator helpful.
• Hands-on production skills: lighting, sound, and live camera.
• Active portfolio or reel showing narrative pacing and 2D motion graphics.

Responsibilities

• Edit short- and long-form video in Premiere Pro and build custom 2D animation, kinetic typography, and motion design in After Effects.
• Translate complex science and advocacy narratives into compelling video for social channels (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), campaigns, and web.
• Direct on-site shoots: lighting, mic, and camera for executive interviews, documentaries, and events.
• Manage projects from concept to final color, sound mix, and file archiving.

The Opportunity

Winston Staffing is recruiting a Video Producer, Animator & Editor on behalf of a leading global health and scientific research foundation based in NYC(Non-Profit).

Reporting to the Creative Director, you will bridge the gap between video editing, custom motion graphics, and hands‑on production—transforming complex science and human impact stories into social‑first video content.

Key Responsibilities

• Dual Post-Production Craft: Edit short- and long-form video in Premiere Pro and build custom 2D animation, kinetic typography, and motion design in After Effects.
• Storytelling & Strategy: Translate complex scientific research and advocacy narratives into compelling video for social channels (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), campaigns, and web.
• On‑Site Production: Direct, light, mic, and shoot executive interviews, documentary features, and organizational events.
• End-to-End Delivery: Manage projects from concept and storyboarding through final color, sound mix, and file archiving.

Core Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of digital-first video production, editing, and motion design experience (agency, media, healthcare, or non‑profit background preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator).
• Hands‑on production skills: Demonstrated ability to set up lighting, capture clean audio, and run camera packages on live shoots.
• Required: An active portfolio or reel showcasing strong narrative pacing, clean sound design, and original 2D motion graphics.
