Job summary

The Multimedia Communications Intern role at The Tepa Companies in Kansas City, MO offers hands-on experience capturing and producing video, photo, and digital content that highlights projects, employees and events. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Strategic Communications or related field.
• Within 2 years of graduation (rising junior/rising senior).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Capture video and photo content showcasing company projects, employees, events, offices, and active jobsites for use across internal and external communication channels.
• Assist with multimedia production from concept through completion, including developing storyboards, shot lists and interview questions; coordinating shoots; operating cameras, audio, and lighting equipment; capturing footage, and editing.
• Edit and produce engaging multimedia content by editing video and photography; and incorporating graphics, music, captions, and other elements while following company brand standards.
• Develop and adapt visual stories for multiple audiences and platforms, helping translate technical information into clear, engaging content for social media, the company website, internal communications, recruiting, business development, and presentations.
