Job description

Experience: 3+ years, Digital Video Content Business

We are looking for a Video Business Lead for key sports and other video verticals to expand our video content business across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is someone who sets ambitious goals for himself/herself and has the strategic vision and content business understanding to achieve the same.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sportskeeda's Video Business across multiple Snapchat channels including genres such as sports, entertainment, influencer content, and more.
  • Work closely with the Business Head to build the video team and achieve revenue targets set for the business.
  • Monitor & Drive content performance through the correct choice of topics and best content practices.
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders; including the production team, talent, influencers, content creators, editors, designers, and more.
  • Energy and Drive: The ideal candidate should set ambitious goals for himself/herself and have a strategic vision to expand the video content business.
  • Content Focus: The candidate must live and breathe video content and have at least 3 years of experience managing video content strategy for Digital platforms. They should also be adept at both Data-driven analysis and creative content development.
  • Audience Engagement: The role involves developing a content strategy across all platforms to drive engagement and subscription and monitoring content performance through the correct choice of topics and best content practices. They should also use Social Media tools to develop actionable insights for the video production team on content themes, best practices, and improving video performance.
  • Sports and Entertainment Interest: The candidate should love consuming sports and entertainment content on social media.
Requirements
  • Someone who lives and breathes video content on Snapchat, both as a content consumer and as a domain expert. Experience with the Snap publisher tool is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing video content strategy for Digital platforms.
  • Candidates from Tier-1 BTech/MBA colleges will be preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in YouTube/FB analytic tools, Social Listening tools.
  • Adept at both Data-driven analysis and creative content development.
  • Proven traffic generation capabilities through organic & paid digital mediums.
  • Someone who loves consuming sports and entertainment content on social media. Interest in video.
