Qualifications

• PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, statistics or related discipline.
• Proficient in C/C++, Python with strong debugging and optimization.
• Knowledge of image/video analysis algorithms and quality metrics (VMAF, PSNR, SSIM).
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Responsibilities

• Design video analysis and quality assessment algorithms and participate in database creation, algorithm design/development/optimization.
• Participate in designing strategy for end-to-end video quality optimization using analysis, processing, and encoding algorithms.
• Apply designed algorithms to VOD/Live streaming monitoring and objective evaluation.
• Collaborate with Infra and multimedia platform teams to integrate algorithms into production workflows and validate impact via A/B testing.
