The one-year appointment may be renewed based on funding and performance, with a start date of January 1, 2027.

The successful candidate will teach courses across preproduction, production, and postproduction, as well as aesthetics, history, and theory.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in video and film production or a closely related field is required by the appointment date.
• A bachelor's degree with three (3) years of full-time or six (6) years part-time verifiable professional experience will be considered in lieu of a master's degree.
• In lieu of a master's or bachelor's degree, ten (10) years of full-time or twenty (20) years of part-time verifiable professional experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach a wide range of video and film production courses, including preproduction, production, and postproduction, as well as aesthetics, history, and theory.
• This is a full-time, temporary (non-tenurable) faculty position with a one-year appointment, start date January 1, 2027, at rank Lecturer.
