Stinger Chemical is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to join our marketing team in Houston. You will transform raw footage into engaging short-form videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, while adhering to brand guidelines.

You will gain hands-on experience in storytelling, brand marketing, and multi-channel content strategy within a growing manufacturing company. This paid internship offers 10–20 hours per week at $15–$17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in standard editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Resolve, Final Cut, Lumafusion, or Shotcut).
• Experience with captioning tools, basic audio cleaning, and motion text animation.
• Ability to work quickly under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality or brand consistency.
• Strong listening skills and receptiveness to feedback and editing notes.
• A portfolio or link to a sample edit (social media edits preferred).

Responsibilities

• Repurpose long-form raw video footage into polished short-form videos (15–60s) for TikTok/IG Reels/YouTube Shorts/LinkedIn.
• Add captions, callouts, text overlays, sound effects, music, and motion graphics.
• Adhere to deadlines, briefs, style guides, and feedback from marketing manager.
• Organize and maintain digital asset libraries, project files, and raw footage repos.
• Must Be Familiar with MediaHuman Video Downloader (Key will be provided).

Stinger Chemical is seeking a creative, fast-paced, and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw video footage and long-form multimedia assets - such as trade show highlights, product walkthroughs, facility tours, and long-form live stream - into engaging, high-impact short-form video content tailored for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and internal company presentations. The ideal candidate possesses strong video-cutting skills, a keen eye for visual pacing and typography, and the ability to strictly follow brand guidelines and creative direction. You will work closely with our marketing management to receive feedback, execute rapid edits, and maintain a steady output of daily video assets. This internship offers hands‑on experience in storytelling, brand marketing, and multi-channel content strategy within a growing manufacturing enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Repurpose long‑form raw video footage into polished, dynamic short‑form videos (15–60 seconds) optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
• Add captions/subtitles, callouts, text overlays, sound effects, background music, and motion graphics to maximize audience engagement.
• Adhere strictly to project deadlines, creative briefs, style guides, and feedback provided by the marketing manager.
• Organize and maintain digital asset libraries, project files, and raw footage repositories efficiently
• Must Be Familiar with MediaHuman Video Downloader. (Key will be provided)
