Job summary

Greenleaf Hospitality Group is seeking an entry-level hockey video editor to maintain records and assist with community-related needs for the stadium team. The role requires proficiency with the Stevahockey editing program and strong written and oral communication.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor’s degree preferred or in progress, and a good understanding of hockey. The position emphasizes collaboration with management, officials, and the media.

Responsibilities

• Keep and maintain effective and accurate records.
• Assist Stadium Management with community related needs.
• Be proficient in the Stevahockey video editing program.
• Analyze game footage to identify break-out, backcheck, face-off, etc.
• Report to the coach during intermission.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Set up computer for video editing.
• Maintain relationships with management, league officials, facility representatives, media, staff and the public.

• Be fully efficient in all aspects of the Stevahockey video editing program
• Have the ability to look at the game and define certain aspects i.e. break-out, backcheck, face-off etc.
• Report to the coach during intermission
• Ability to communicate well, both written and orally
• Set computer up for video editing
• Maintain effective relationships with management, league officials, facility representatives, the media, fellow employees, and the general public

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree or working towards completion of degree is preferred
• Hockey experience is greatly appreciated but not required
• Ability to work with the Stevahockey editing program
• Ability to communicate well, both written and orally
• Strong understanding of hockey
