Job summary

The Daily Wire seeks a Video Editor to join our Washington, DC team. You will edit daily podcasts, host original content, YouTube videos, and other shows, applying our editing standards to realize the creative vision.

You will work under the Director of Post-Production, transforming raw footage into compelling content and collaborating across the Production department to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience, including social media and editorial work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of digital media formats, codecs, resolutions, and frame rates.
• Experience with After Effects, motion graphics, audio mixing, and color correction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Edit Daily Wire daily podcasts, shows, host original content, and other videos.
• Transform raw footage into polished content with creative editing and storytelling.
• Create assembly edits, string-outs, and final finishing edits across formats.
• Collaborate with the Director of Post-Production to implement feedback.
• Develop and maintain project templates for consistent workflows.
• Convert, transcode, and compress media to meet delivery requirements.
• Organize and archive footage and project files; complete daily logs.
• Deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
