What We Need

We’re looking for a hands-on video editor and creative operator to join the ClipJoy studio team. You’ll produce short-form videos (15–60s), ads, and branded content using a mix of AI tools and traditional editing platforms. Your mission: match or exceed the quality of our founder-led output and keep up with our pace.

This is a mission-critical hire to help scale production without compromising quality or speed.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end post-production across 3–10 video projects/week
• Implement ClipJoy’s Studio System (ScriptRush, ClipForge, FinalCast workflows)
• Produce and edit footage using AI video tools (e.g., Runway, Adobe, Topaz, ElevenLabs, etc.)
• Ensure platform-native delivery (TikTok, Meta, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
• Rapidly learn and master new AI tools as we evolve our stack
• Collaborate async with producers, strategists, and clients via Notion, Frame.io, and Slack

Requirements

• 1+ year of video editing experience (agency, brand, or freelance)
• Portfolio of short-form branded or performance content
• Working knowledge of AI video tools, or proven speed to learn them
• Bonus: familiarity with scripting, storyboarding, motion design, or direct-response marketing

What Success Looks Like

• You deliver videos thatdon't need cleanup
• You proactively elevate scripts and visuals to make them punchier, tighter, or more interesting
• You make the founder say, “this is better than what I’d do.”

Logistics

• Type: Contract to start (10–30 hrs/week); potential to scale
• Pay: Competitive hourly/project rate + growth-based bonuses
• Tools: Access to ClipJoy AI suite, Frame.io, stock libraries, and support workflows
