Job summary

AEG, home to the LA Galaxy, seeks a Video Editor to produce high-quality post-production content across digital and broadcast platforms. You will collaborate with a team of producers, videographers and designers to deliver engaging stories about players, fans and LA soccer culture.

The role covers match coverage, features, branded content and recurring series. Strong editing, color, audio and motion graphics skills are required, with a focus on fast-paced environments and live-event support.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Video Production, Media Production or related field.
• 2–4 years in a videographer and content editing role.
• 2–4 years industry-specific experience preferred.
• Experience with a professional sports team is a plus.
• Proficiency in non-linear software (Final Cut Pro, Premiere) and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proactive, organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Creative, idea-oriented, collaborative team player.
• Good MS Office skills.
• Proficiency in After Effects for motion graphics; strong video editing execution.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to carry and maneuver equipment ≥40 lbs.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Edit and deliver short- and long-form video content across social, digital, broadcast, marketing and in-stadium platforms.
• Craft compelling stories from raw footage and manage audio, color, pacing and music.
• Support production with additional footage capture and on-site support.
• Perform same-day edits and rapid-turnaround tasks for home/away matches and events.
• Collaborate with Design and Digital teams to develop in-stadium motion graphics.
• Oversee graphics, animations and subtitling to align with brand standards.
