Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end post-production, including assembling raw footage, editing video sequences, synchronizing audio, and applying basic color adjustments. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with creative and marketing teams, implementing feedback, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines and project objectives. The role also involves adding motion graphics or simple visual effects, preparing final deliverables in multiple formats, and maintaining organized project files and asset libraries. The Video Editor will be expected to manage deadlines, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and continuously refine processes to improve output quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing for assembling, trimming, and refining video content.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual consistency, mood, and overall image quality.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating titles, lower thirds, transitions, and simple visual elements.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with creative, marketing, or production teams.
• Portfolio demonstrating previous video editing work; experience in digital media, advertising, or social content is beneficial.
• Relevant education or training in film, media production, or a related field is a plus, though equivalent practical experience is valued.
