Job summary

Proppel Pty Ltd. is seeking a remote Video Editor to turn on-location Spain footage into engaging organic content for Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. You’ll join the Content Creation team and have real room to shape what you publish.

You will edit a mix of long-form and short-form content, build hooks, and optimize pacing to drive results. A portfolio of published social videos and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience editing social media video content.
• Strong command of CapCut and Adobe software (Premiere Pro and After Effects).
• Motion graphics skills and experience with AI tools in editing workflow.
• Solid understanding of native formats for vertical, horizontal, and square content.

Responsibilities

• Edit organic videos for Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok with a raw, business-focused style.
• Build strong hooks, fast pacing, and storytelling to keep viewers watching.
• Pitch new content concepts using AI tools to explore ideas beyond briefs.
• Analyze retention and engagement data and translate insights into improvements.
• Create simple paid ads as a secondary duty.
• Deliver from one complex video every two weeks to five short videos per week, against performance targets.

We're partnering with a growing company with a strong social media presence that is building a content engine across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Their filming happens on location in Spain, and they need a remote Video Editor to turn that footage into organic content that grabs attention and drives results. You'll join their Content Creation team and have real room to shape what they publish.

What You'll Be Doing

• Edit organic videos for Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, with a raw, business-focused style rather than a cinematic one.
• Build strong hooks, fast pacing, and storytelling that keeps viewers watching.
• Pitch new content concepts on your own, using AI tools to explore ideas instead of only executing briefs.
• Analyze retention and engagement data, and turn what you learn into concrete improvements.
• Create simple paid ads as a secondary part of the role.
• Deliver anywhere from one complex video every two weeks to five short videos per week, measured against clear performance targets.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience editing social media video content.
• Strong command of CapCut and Adobe software (such as Premiere Pro and After Effects).
• Motion graphics skills and extensive experience with AI tools in your editing workflow.
• A solid understanding of native formats and current dynamics on each platform (vertical, horizontal, and square).
• English level of B2 or higher, for comfortable day-to-day communication with English speakers.
• A portfolio of published social media videos (this is required).

Nice to Have

• Content that has performed well above average on social media.
• The ability to explain why a video worked and how you would scale that learning.
• Up-to-date knowledge of trends, formats, and creators on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
