Job summary

Creative Scotland seeks an experienced editor to collaborate with an Artist and Director on live art and creative technology projects. You will edit video across short films, event documentation, interviews, and social media content, while following briefs and delivering polished work.

Flexible hours and a freelance/project-based setup with pay aligned to Betcu rates (150–250 USD/day) for standard 5–8 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Demonstrable professional experience in video editing.
• A strong artistic eye and attention to detail.

Freelance / Project-Based
Hybrid & remote work possible

Seeking an experienced, creatively minded editor to work with an Artist and Director on a range of video and moving-image projects. Primarily within Live Art + Creative Technology.

The work will vary across short films, event documentation, interviews, YouTube and occasional social media videos.

We're looking for someone who can work efficiently and independently, follow a brief, and bring their own creative eye and technical expertise.

Flexible working hours.

Pay in line with Betcu rates of 150-250/day for a standard 5-8 hour day/shift.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro,
• Demonstrable professional experience in video editing,
• A strong artistic eye,
• The ability to produce polished, professional-quality work.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to work efficiently and meet agreed deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.
• The ability to listen to, understand and respond to feedback in a professional manner.
• Adaptability and good understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions and delivery requirements.

Additional advantageous skills

• Experience working with colour correction and colour grading is highly desirable.
• Adobe After Effects & VFX knowledge & Experience with 360° video.
