Job summary

Jon Ossoff for Senate is seeking a Video Editor to craft smart, sharp, scroll-stopping content. You’ll turn big ideas and news moments into videos people watch and talk about, with a fast-paced, visually driven approach.

This is a full-time, in-person role in the Atlanta area, with relocation required and night/weekend work leading up to Election Day. You’ll collaborate with social, creative, and communications teams to maintain a consistent visual identity across platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience editing video content for campaigns, brands, newsrooms, political orgs, or media outlets.
• Editorial experience in newsroom/political/high-volume environment is strongly preferred.
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects, motion graphics, or other content tools is a plus.
• Sharp eye for pacing, tone, and storytelling across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
• Ability to work quickly and juggle multiple projects on tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.

What We’re Looking for

• 5+ years of experience editing video content for campaigns, brands, newsrooms, political orgs, or media outlets.

The initial round of consideration will focus primarily on the candidate’s portfolio of work, submit a link in your application and, if not the sole creative, indicate what aspects were created by the applicant.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $6,500/mo

This position will come with benefits, including dental, vision and health insurance. This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.
