Understanding of major social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) and how to optimize content.

Responsibilities

Video Recording: Capture footage for a variety of projects, including short-form content (Reels/TikToks) and other video initiatives as needed.
Video Editing: Edit footage into polished, engaging videos optimized for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
Video Concepting & Scripting: Collaborate with marketing and communications interns to develop video concepts, contribute to scripts, and plan visual execution (shots, pacing, transitions).
Production Planning: Develop production notes, including shot lists, props, and editing approaches to support efficient filming and strong final products.
Trend Awareness: Stay informed about current social media trends and video styles to ensure content remains relevant and engaging to a student audience.
On-Camera Participation (Preferred): Appear in videos as needed, or help coordinate peers who are comfortable participating.
