Job summary

Spectrum offers a paid, full-time 11-week internship for students pursuing degrees in CS, IT, or related fields. The program runs May 26 to August 6, 2027, with hands-on projects alongside experienced engineers and a dedicated mentor.

You will participate in professional development sessions, networking activities, and cross-functional projects designed to expand your technical and professional skill set while exploring your interests within the telecommunications industry.

Qualifications

• Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Assist and learn from advanced system-level engineers to support Linux administration, virtualization, Python scripting, and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Splunk
• Contribute to ensuring cDVR and CDN infrastructures operate at peak performance and deliver high-quality service to customers
