Job summary

Brightwater Media in Santa Barbara is seeking a beginner-to-mid level video/filmmaking collaborator for an occasional side hustle to help create social media content.

You will work a few short shoots per week, paid $25 per hour with a 2-hour minimum; mentorship is offered to help you progress in the film and video production field. Gear is provided, and you won’t need to carry large items or have full audio/DIT setup.

Job description

This is an occasional side hustle with professional mentorship. I live in Santa Barbara and am looking for a person with video or filmmaking skills to assist in creating social media content. I have the gear necessary; no need to carry large items, large lighting, or a full audio/DIT setup. You should have limited experience with iPhone content videos.

First, I will be paying $25 per hour with a 2‑hour minimum. Most shoots will be short, 2 or 4 hours. I will shoot a couple times per week at most.

Additionally, I will offer mentorship for anyone looking to advance in the film and video production business but unsure of how to progress.
