Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two years post-secondary study in related fields.
• Two years’ work experience in law office or justice system.
• Two years’ experience with office procedures and computer systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Any combination of education and experience that provides required knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation and support services to victims and witnesses.
• Notify victims of rights and assist in exercising rights.
• Coordinate meetings with prosecutors and law enforcement.
• Maintain accurate records of proceedings and communications.
• Develop procedures, forms, and brochures for the program.
• Coordinate services with community resources and agencies.
• Assist in grant writing and budget/reporting documentation.
