The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits is seeking a full-time Victim survivor/Intervention and prevention therapist. In this key position, you'll provide essential support through individual therapy and group facilitation, focusing on domestic violence issues within diverse communities. Ideal candidates will possess a master's degree and experience in trauma-informed care, showing a commitment to social justice and community outreach.
Position Overview
The Domestic Abuse Project is currently seeking a full-time, Victim survivor/Intervention and prevention therapist to provide direct services to clients in our Intervention and Prevention and Victim Survivor programs. This is a benefit-eligible position of 40 hours per week, and reports directly to the Victim Survivor Program Supervisor. Therapists in this position will facilitate psychotherapy groups as well as individual therapy. An ideal candidate will have experience providing services to individuals who use harm and to individuals who have been harmed. Individuals who are systems connected, dealing directly with the issues of domestic violence or other closely related fields is preferred. Candidates for this position should be dedicated to engaging in personal and programmatic reflection regarding the issues of race, gender, power and privilege, equity and inclusion, social justice, and social determinants of health as they intersect with the issue of domestic violence.
