The Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) within the Navy is seeking qualified professionals to provide information, referral, counseling, and advocacy to support operational readiness and family self-sufficiency. Applications are reviewed every two weeks, and the role requires strong crisis intervention, safety planning, and advocacy skills within military families.

• Professional knowledge of social services work, counseling services, psychosocial principles and theories, and group dynamics of family and individual systems from a related bachelor’s degree.
• Competency in crisis intervention skills, safety planning and procedures, and civilian and military orders of protection.
• Knowledge of domestic violence and child abuse dynamics; ability to advocate for non-offending parent figures.
