About the Role

We seek an experienced and visionary Worldwide Professional Services Vice President to lead a global delivery organization supporting enterprise customers across legacy and modern data ecosystems. This executive will drive strategy, operations, and execution of services around our extensive relational database portfolio, accelerating customer success in our newly acquired and OEM-partnered cloud-based data catalog and data observability solutions.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a transformation-minded executive who thrives at the intersection of customer success, operational excellence, and emerging data technology.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Global Services Leadership
  2. Lead, scale, and manage a high-performing global professional services organization.
  3. Define and execute the global services strategy in alignment with the COO and corporate objectives.
  4. Ensure world-class service delivery, customer outcomes, and services profitability.
  5. Strategic Transformation
  6. Drive customer adoption and value realization for new cloud-native data catalog and observability offerings.
  7. Lead integration and operationalization of technologies acquired via M&A and OEM partnerships.
  8. Portfolio Management
  9. Maintain and modernize support for legacy RDBMS platforms.
  10. Build new offerings around metadata management, lineage, data quality, and observability.
  11. Customer Engagement & Advocacy
  12. Serve as executive sponsor for strategic customers undergoing data transformation.
  13. Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to align service offerings to evolving customer needs.
  14. Talent Development & Culture
  15. Recruit, retain, and grow a world-class services team across global regions.
  16. Foster a high-performance, customer-first culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in professional services, consulting, or customer-facing technical roles.
  • Expertise in both legacy RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) and modern data ecosystems.
  • Proven experience managing global delivery teams and driving operational excellence at scale.
  • Familiarity with modern data catalog and observability platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Monte Carlo, Databand, Bigeye).
  • Deep experience in managing OEM partnerships and integrating acquired technologies into services portfolios.
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and cross-functional leadership.

Preferred Experience

  • M&A integration experience with focus on services and technology alignment.
  • Track record of scaling services P&L and managing global partner ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data governance best practices.
  • Deep domain expertise in Data Catalog, Data Observability, and Data Quality markets.
