We’re looking for an experienced Professional Services leader to join our team and define our approach to delivering world class programs for our clients.

About The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Client Service, the Head of Professional Services will define, develop, and execute our professional services strategy to drive customer success, accelerate adoption, and generate new revenue streams for our AI-powered claims guidance platform. This new role at EvolutionIQ will oversee and elevate our existing team of approximately 15 Relationship Managers, evolving their focus towards a more comprehensive professional services offering. The Head of Professional Services will work closely with delivery teams in Client Service and Engineering and will build strong partnerships with EvolutionIQ’s Sales and Product organizations.

About You:

You are a proven leader with a track record of successfully building and scaling professional services functions for enterprise SaaS companies. You possess exceptional relationship management skills and a deep understanding of the insurance claims lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on disability and bodily injury claims. You are excited by the opportunity to improve carrier and claimant outcomes by introducing innovative AI-driven solutions into the insurance industry’s claims handling processes in a way that supports human claims examiners.

Duties & responsibilities for this role include:

  • Strategy Development & Execution: Define and implement the overall vision and strategy for the Professional Services organization, aligning it with EIQ’s broader business objectives and customer success goals
  • Offerings Development: Design, package, and price a comprehensive suite of professional services offerings specifically tailored to the needs of large US and international insurance carriers and their claims teams
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, strategic relationships with executive stakeholders at our large enterprise clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their successful adoption and utilization of our solutions
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop our Professional Services team while also being a visible leader within the broader Client Service organization
  • Process & Methodology Development: Establish and optimize standardized processes, methodologies, and best practices professional services delivery within the context of complex enterprise deployments
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless project delivery, effective issue resolution, and alignment on customer needs and feedback
  • Build the brand: Stay abreast of industry trends and opportunities and establish a presence within the industry that allows you to influence dialogue among key stakeholders and decision-makers.

What you bring:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in professional services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role building and managing professional services organizations within an enterprise SaaS company
  • Exceptional relationship management and executive-level communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with senior leaders at major insurance organizations
  • Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS business models, implementation methodologies, and customer success principles, ideally within the context of the insurance industry
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and launching professional services offerings that drive customer value and generate revenue within large enterprise accounts
  • Significant familiarity with insurance claims handling processes, particularly within Disability, Workers Compensation, and/or Auto Bodily Injury lines of business
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
  • An interest in helping the insurance industry adopt AI-driven solutions
  • Compensation: The salary range is 250-275 in NYC with flexibility depending on a candidate’s background and experience. There is also a meaningful equity plan.
  • Location: This position is hybrid with the expectation of being in office at least 3 times per week. Our office is located in lower Manhattan.
