Job Overview :

EXL is seeking to hire the Vice President, Rewards Head Americas. The core element of the role is focused on partnering with HR Leadership and other key stakeholders to develop and mature the compensation philosophy and strategy within the geography. The role impacts a headcount of approximately 2,700 employees in our total reward offering for the region.

The core responsibilities include:

  1. Applying external best practices and reward strategies, with a proven track record of conceptualizing and executing successful strategies to enhance business productivity and foster a high-performing culture.
  2. Engaging with Global Rewards for benchmarking salary and benefits data, analyzing reports, and sharing insights with leadership.
  3. Collaborating with HR leaders and Compensation & Benefits teams on promotions, market adjustments, and other compensation-related initiatives.
  4. Working with the benefits team to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness of benefits, including negotiations with carriers and financial institutions.
  5. Assessing benefit eligibility, ensuring compliance, and addressing DEI, pay equity, and gender pay analyses.
  6. Coordinating annual processes like merit increases, bonuses, and equity grants, and evaluating incentive plans.
  7. Designing and monitoring hiring ranges in partnership with recruitment and HRBP teams.
  8. Ensuring compliance with legal and company policies related to compensation.
  9. Developing communication strategies for employees regarding compensation and benefits.
  10. Partnering with Global Rewards and finance on budgeting, data management, and reporting.
  11. Investigating and resolving escalated employee issues related to compensation.
  12. Maintaining and improving compensation and benefits systems in collaboration with HRIS/HRSS teams.

Competencies, Skills, and Values:

  • Extensive knowledge of industry standards, local legislation, and HR compliance.
  • Strong relationship management, strategic thinking, and operational efficiency skills.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Fusion, Power BI, MS Office, and familiarity with automation tools like VBA, Python, Tableau, Qlik Sense.
  • Experience in digital transformation and data analytics.

Minimum Requirements :

  • 15+ years in Compensation and Benefits, with at least 8 years in leadership or regional head roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and result-driven mindset.
  • Experience working in a global, ITES/KPO/Analytics environment.
