Overview of the Role

Alysian is looking to build a flexible bench of high-quality Advisors and Vice Presidents with strong consulting backgrounds and deep experience in IT carve-outs and ERP transformations.

These are contractor roles, engaged on a project-by-project basis, supporting Private Equity clients and their portfolio companies across the full deal lifecycle. You will work alongside senior leadership to deliver high-impact technology transformation programmes, with a particular focus on separation, integration, and ERP-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support delivery of IT carve-outs, separations, and post-merger integrations
• Contribute to ERP transformation programmes (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Assist in IT due diligence and pre-deal assessments where required
• Support Day 1 readiness, TSA planning and exit execution
• Analyse IT landscapes, identify risks, and propose value creation opportunities
• Work closely with client stakeholders including CIOs, CFOs, and transformation teams
• Contribute to structured problem solving, analysis, and client deliverables
• Collaborate with Alysian teams to ensure high-quality delivery across engagements

Requirements

• Consulting DNA — you've delivered to clients in a structured advisory environment (Big 4, Tier 1, or strong boutique).
• IT carve-out / separation experience — you've lived through TSAs, Day-1 cutovers, application clones, infrastructure splits, identity separation.
• ERP fluency — meaningful programme experience on SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday in a separation or transformation context.
• Senior stakeholder presence — credible with CIOs, CFOs, deal teams, and SI / vendor leadership.
• Available to commit a defined number of days per week per engagement, on the client's timezone.

Principal Level:

• 8+ years of consulting / advisory experience, including senior client ownership.
• Consulting background — delivered for or alongside a major firm (Accenture, Big 4, IBM, Capgemini, or boutique advisory).
• Multiple IT carve-outs led end-to-end, including TSA design and exit.
• Deep ERP programme leadership on SAP, Oracle, or equivalent — separation or large-scale transformation.
• Track record selling and shaping work; existing relationships in PE and/or corporate M&A is a plus

Engagement Model

• Contractor role, engaged based on project
• Flexible deployment across the US (East Coast highly preferred)
