The Technology Investment Banking Group has a significant presence across all major technology sub-sectors. Our Vice Presidents work as integral members of client teams that provide a wide range of services, including: general financial advice, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, special committee assignments, takeover defenses, corporate restructurings, strategic partnerships/joint ventures and advice on capital structure. Lazard is seeking an experienced Vice President to join the group’s very active San Francisco practice.

• Direct financial analyses and review models

You’ll Need To Have

• A minimum of 5-6 years of investment banking experience and a demonstrated passion for Technology
• Demonstrated client and deal experience on Technology M&A transactions (buy and sell side)
• A demonstrated team player attitude and leadership qualities with a strong motivation to contribute to a positive team culture
• Strong client relationship and presentation skills
• Strong quantitative background and analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
• Comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, and maturity
• Ability to support, manage and empower junior bankers
• Bachelor’s degree required, an MBA and/or JD would be an asset

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $250,000 - $275,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Base salary is one component of Lazard Financial Advisory’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
