Job description

Unrivaled Teamwear is seeking a VP / Senior Director of Supply Chain to build and lead the function that gets product from factory to field. This is a hands‑on leadership role covering sourcing, purchasing, supply planning, and customs/logistics, with direct responsibility for the systems and processes that scale as the company grows. The ideal candidate has led supply chain teams through periods of rapid growth, is comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels, and brings direct experience standing up or optimizing ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred).

Key Areas of Responsibility
Sourcing & Purchasing
  • Develop and execute global sourcing strategy across raw materials, blanks, trim, and finished goods, balancing cost, quality, speed, and risk.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage a diversified supplier and vendor base; lead supplier negotiations, contracts, and scorecards.
  • Own purchasing operations end-to-end, including PO management, cost forecasting, and vendor compliance.
  • Build sourcing strategies that support new product categories and seasonal/team-customization demand.
Supply Planning
  • Own supply planning process, and lead cross-functional S&OP meetings to align inventory with sales, seasonality, and team/league order cycles.
  • Coordinate with finance function to set inventory strategy and targets to balance service levels, working capital, and lead times.
  • Partner with sales and product teams to translate forecasts and bookings into actionable production and purchasing plans.
  • Build planning tools and reporting that scale with order volume and SKU complexity.
Customs & Logistics
  • Oversee import/export compliance, customs brokerage relationships, HTS classification, and duty management.
  • Manage domestic and international freight (ocean, air, ground), carrier relationships, and freight cost optimization.
  • Own warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment strategy, including 3PL relationships where applicable.
  • Ensure trade compliance across all sourcing geographies and monitor regulatory/tariff changes that affect cost and lead time.
Systems & Organizational Leadership
  • Actively engage in ongoing ERP implementation (SAP), ensuring that business requirements, process definitions, and reporting tools are in place at “go-live”
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing supply chain team as the organization grows.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards for cost, service levels, inventory turns, and on-time delivery; report regularly to executive leadership.
  • Design scalable processes and controls appropriate for a high-growth environment, replacing ad hoc practices with repeatable systems.
  • Serve as a key cross-functional partner to Sales, Product, Finance, and Operations.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including sourcing, purchasing, supply planning, and logistics/customs, ideally in apparel, teamwear, sporting goods, or a related consumer product category.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role, with direct experience building and scaling a supply chain team and function.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen; comfortable owning budgets, cost models, and P&L-impacting decisions.
  • Demonstrated success leading a supply chain organization through a period of high growth or significant scale-up.
  • Experience with ERP implementation or optimization required; SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of international sourcing, import/export compliance, and customs regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
What Success Looks Like
  • A supply chain organization, systems, and processes that scale smoothly with revenue growth rather than becoming a bottleneck.
  • Improved cost, lead time, and service-level performance across sourcing and logistics.
  • A stable, well-integrated ERP/planning system that gives leadership real-time visibility into inventory and orders.
  • A capable, well-led team with clear ownership of sourcing, purchasing, planning, and logistics functions.
