Overview

A private equity-backed, rapidly growing residential and commercial field services company seeks a Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Revenue Operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the CEO and C-suite to drive high-impact growth initiatives, including organic growth projects, revenue operations enhancements, and M&A opportunities. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will oversee strategic projects that align with the company's long-term vision, improve operational efficiencies, and position the business for sustained success. Projects will vary from short-term strategic engagements to large-scale transformational programs.

In addition to strategic responsibilities, this role will be pivotal in building the company's commercial capabilities, optimizing sales, marketing, and revenue operations following a recent Alexander Group project.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple strategic initiatives ensuring timely execution aligned with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide leadership in a high-growth setting, managing uncertainty, change, and expansion through acquisitions.
  • Lead acquisition planning, execution, and completion, defining milestones, timelines, budgets, resources, and success metrics.
  • Coordinate projects, facilitate steering committee meetings, and define roles for functional leaders.
  • Track project performance, risks, and health using dashboards.
  • Escalate and resolve critical issues impacting project timelines, including go-live dates.
  • Support acquisition strategies through due diligence and seamless execution.
  • Develop revenue operations, integrating sales, marketing, and customer success processes to enhance lead conversion, sales pipeline, and customer retention.
  • Optimize organizational structure, compensation models, lead generation, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive organic growth via data-driven commercial practices.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience, preferably with a top-tier consulting background.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or master’s preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
  • Experience in developing workplans, project scopes, and presentations.
  • Strong innovator, comfortable with calculated risks and transformational change.
  • Experience in revenue operations, commercial strategy, or related growth functions preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, financial, and consultative skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with influence across organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
