Description du poste

We’re partnered with a leading field services organization serving commercial customers across a growing multi-state footprint. Backed by top-tier private equity, the company is in a rapid growth phase, driven by an active acquisition strategy and a commitment to building best-in-class operations across its brands.

The organization is scaling quickly and investing heavily in operational excellence, technology enablement, and strategic growth initiatives across the business.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact role for a proven operator or transformation leader who wants to own the agenda rather than advise on it.

As Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, you will partner closely with executive leadership to shape the company’s strategic plan and drive its execution. You’ll lead the transformation office and guide the integration of acquired brands into a unified regional operating structure. You’ll work directly with senior leaders and field operators to solve complex operational challenges, improve performance, and help scale the business during a period of significant growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with executive leadership to define the organization’s strategic direction, establish measurable priorities, and ensure accountability for achieving business objectives.
  • Lead Enterprise Transformation: Develop and oversee the transformation office, implementing governance structures, operating cadences, and performance-tracking processes to convert strategic initiatives into measurable business results.
  • Integrate Acquired Brands and Establish Regional Operations: Direct the integration of acquired companies and implement a consistent regional operating model across operations, sales, finance, human resources, technology, and other business functions.
  • Manage Post-Acquisition Integration: Facilitate the onboarding of newly acquired businesses by evaluating current operations, identifying improvement areas, and executing structured integration plans.
  • Develop Scalable Operational Processes: Establish standardized reporting systems, business processes, management routines, and KPI frameworks to strengthen operational visibility, execution, and accountability.
  • Translate Strategy into Operational Results: Partner with regional leadership, field managers, and frontline employees to turn strategic goals into practical improvements that enhance business performance.
  • Support Strategic Business Decisions: Apply analytical thinking, financial evaluation, and structured problem-solving to help executive leadership make informed decisions and advance key business initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience with a leading management consulting firm, such as Bain, BCG, or McKinsey; a private equity portfolio operations team; or another highly analytical environment, followed by meaningful experience in an internal operating, strategy, or transformation leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success leading a transformation office, Program Management Office (PMO), or a portfolio of enterprise-wide improvement initiatives.
  • Proven experience managing acquisition integrations or developing operating models across multiple brands, geographic regions, or business units.
  • Familiarity with frontline workforce challenges, particularly attracting, recruiting, and retaining skilled trades professionals, is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with a proactive mindset and a commitment to execution, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments, manage ambiguity, and establish structure amid complex business challenges.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive teams, private equity sponsors, regional leaders, and field-based personnel.
  • Willingness to engage directly with operational teams and work alongside frontline leaders in field-based environments.
  • MBA preferred.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
  • Collaborate directly with senior executives and private equity stakeholders on important strategic and operational priorities.
  • Take ownership of the organization's strategic agenda and lead the transformation function responsible for delivering results.
  • Play a key role in creating a unified operating model that aligns multiple brands while preserving the ability to scale.
  • Gain significant cross-functional exposure across operations, finance, human resources, technology, and regional business leadership.
  • Join a rapidly expanding, acquisition-focused organization with substantial potential to drive business growth, deliver operational improvements, and advance your career.
