Job summary

Hiring Solutions is seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO for a remote role in North America with Eastern Time preference. You will act as an extension of the CEO, driving strategic initiatives, governance, and organizational alignment across the executive team.

The ideal candidate brings 8–12 years of experience in strategy and operations, with strong executive communication and the ability to influence without authority.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of professional experience.
• Previous experience as Chief of Staff, Strategy & Operations leader, GM, or similar executive-facing role.
• Experience supporting senior executives in professional services, consulting, or B2B services.
• Ability to influence executives and drive accountability through collaboration.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills; experience with board materials.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity.
• Experience designing operating processes, governance models, cross-functional planning.
• Exposure to business transformation initiatives, M&A integration, or large-scale programs is desirable.
• MBA, consulting background, or private equity-backed experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop decision-making frameworks, governance processes, and accountability tracking.
• Create executive dashboards and reporting on priorities, risks, and performance.
• Improve executive meetings by documenting decisions and tracking follow-through.

What You’ll Do

As Chief of Staff, you’ll act as an extension of the CEO, ensuring strategic initiatives move forward while creating greater clarity, accountability, and alignment across the executive team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Build and manage the executive operating cadence, including leadership meetings, executive offsites, and CEO one-on-ones.
• Develop decision-making frameworks, governance processes, and accountability tracking across the leadership team.
• Create executive dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into strategic priorities, risks, and business performance.
• Improve the effectiveness of executive meetings by ensuring decisions are documented, actions are tracked, and follow-through happens.
• Prepare executive communications, board materials, presentations, strategic memos, and decision briefs.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO by helping evaluate priorities, structure complex decisions, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
• Partner closely with executive leadership to improve organizational alignment and execution across multiple global regions.

• Approximately 8–12 years of professional experience.
• Previous experience as a Chief of Staff, Strategy & Operations leader, General Manager, or similar executive-facing operating role.
• Experience supporting senior executives within a professional services, consulting, or B2B services organization.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive accountability through collaboration rather than authority.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with experience developing board- or executive-level materials.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and simplify complex business problems into clear actions.
• Experience designing executive operating processes, governance models, and cross-functional planning.
• Exposure to business transformation initiatives, organizational change, M&A integration, or large-scale strategic programs is highly desirable.
• MBA, consulting background, or experience in private equity-backed environments is a plus.
