Church Pension Group (CPG) in Midtown Manhattan seeks a VP SharedTransactional Services to oversee end-to-end Corporate Finance Shared Services including Payroll, Accounts Payable, Disbursements, Treasury Operations and BSA analysis. ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES

• Engages and influences the team:
• Identifies training needs of these resources and recommends and assists in the on-going development of individual training plans
• Assists individuals in identifying potential future roles and helping to create development plan that aids the individual in attaining these future roles
• Develops succession plans to identify future potential resources for positions within the team and for the position of VP
• Prepares the annual budget for the costs associated with the Shared Services areas
• Provides day-to-day guidance to the managers of the team to ultimately deliver complete, accurate and timely processing of transactions and the goals and objectives of the team
• Directs and has immediate responsibility for all practices and policies
• Leads the establishment of and has direct responsibility for customer service levels.
• Leads the development of customer service levels
• Ensures service levels are periodically measured and results are communicated and reviewed with customers
• Ensures timely and effective troubleshooting of customer service issues (internal and external customers)
• Consistently identifies opportunities for improving service levels, resulting in improved efficiency and effectiveness of services.
• Directs the development and review process for standard report production and exception monitoring.
• Collaborates with Business Partners to determine reporting needs
• Establishes and maintains a strong internal control environment
• Implements processes that ensure adequate segregation of responsibilities
• Develops & leads a monthly close process ensuring that transactions are recorded timely, appropriately supported and processed accurately. Coordinates with the VP General Accounting to ensure timely and accurate postings to the General Ledger
• Drives continuous improvement; leads team to identify improvements for effectiveness and efficiencies
• Standardizing, streamlining, and automating processes
• Manages key vendor relationships for the function
• Complies with CPG’s standard vendor management processes and policies
• Manages internal and external audit reviews and requests
• Responsible as lead contact for the functional area
• Effective performance of the essential functions of this position requires regular in-person, on-site interaction with colleagues, both for purposes of relationship building and meaningful collaboration
• Assists in Company-wide projects as requested

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Currently, hybrid work environment, which requires working in CPG’s office Tuesdays through Thursdays and flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Salary Range: $230,000 - $265,000
