Job summary

The Goldman Sachs Group is seeking a Vice President of Risk Governance in New York to lead the transformation of the Technology Risk function and strengthen the security program. You will partner with Technology Risk and Engineering to set measurable goals and align actions with regulatory drivers.

Responsibilities include conducting Application Security Assessments, reviewing architecture and standards, and advising on secure remediation.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with specified years of experience.
• Experience in technical PM/Program Management within financial services or tech industries.
• Knowledge of risk, compliance, regulation and IT/security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation of the Technology Risk function to improve cyber security effectiveness.
• Partner with Technology Risk and Engineering to set measurable goals and align with strategy.
• Perform Application Security Assessments: code review, pen tests, design reviews, threat modelling.
• Review security architecture, policies and standards; document outcomes.
• Identify software vulnerabilities and propose mitigating controls to reduce risk.
• Explore secure cloud adoption and advise on best practices.
• Analyze software component architecture to identify threats and risks.
• Advise owners on secure remediation and implementation of controls.
• Support a world-class cyber defense program through cross-team collaboration.
• Provide security consulting to the Firm as needed.
