We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Release Train Engineer II to join our team. This role is located in our Jersey City, NJ Offices.


Overview: The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART) or product. The RTE's major responsibilities are to facilitate development events and processes, assist teams in delivering value, and drive relentless improvement. This role involves communication with stakeholders, escalation of impediments, risk management, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes.

  • Assist teams in delivering value and achieving objectives.

  • Communicate with stakeholders and escalate impediments.

  • Manage risks and dependencies, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution.

  • Drive continuous improvement and integration.

  • Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in SAFe and Agile methodologies.

  • Manage and optimize program flow, facilitating PI Planning and readiness.

  • Aggregate Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives.

  • Track and report status, ensuring value delivery.

  • Institutionalize the adoption of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) within the Release Train and teams

  • Act as a liaison between Engineering, Product management and Practice teams

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $179,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
