Responsibilities

The VP of Property Management is responsible for the operational and financial success of the properties in the portfolio. This role will lead a team to ensure that results are achieved through effectively managing the performance of the properties with regards to financial, maintenance, revenue management, marketing plans, capital improvements and compliance with laws and company policies as well as provide support to their leaders, consisting of Area VPs, Regional Property Managers, and Regional Maintenance Directors, in interviewing, hiring, developing and assessing talent throughout the region to continually enhance the company’s number one resource, its people.


Qualifications

  • 5 years minimum experience in a Vice President or similar role
  • Excellent business and financial acumen with a solid understanding of real estate financial concepts and statements
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Property Management systems, Revenue Management systems, and other industry related systems.
  • Strong business relationships as well as an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Experience working in cross functional teams to design, implement, and improve property management processes
  • Thorough understanding of Landlord/Tenant laws and guidelines
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • CPM or CPM candidate preferred
