Job summary

BNY Mellon in New York City seeks a Vice President, Product Owner for the Global Collateral Platform. You will influence strategic direction, prioritize features, and work with sales, technology, legal, and operations to deliver innovative collateral products.

You will apply market analytics, AI models, and BI tools to drive decisions and expand to new markets, collaborating with institutional clients and internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and strong execution.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of demonstrated expertise in global funding markets, triparty platforms, margining practices, collateral optimization, and the role of clearing banks and custodians.
• Proven track record of designing, launching, and managing financial products and funding structures, with specific experience in triparty repo structures and workflows in an Agile development model.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Experience collaborating with legal, compliance, and operations to structure innovative financing products while ensuring regulatory adherence.
• Ability to interface credibly with institutional clients, dealers, and internal stakeholders including trading, technology, risk, and operations teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex market concepts into actionable platform strategies, published thought leadership, and client briefs.
