Division Profile:

The Wealth Management Platforms organization manages digital platforms and experiences across the Advisor, Workplace and Direct channels, ensuring that our capabilities lead the industry and are delivered and integrated seamlessly.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated digital product manager to join the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Platforms team. As a product owner, you will inform direction and contribute to the creation and on-going success of the latest digital solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide daily support to Financial Advisors, Support Professionals and Operations teams.
  2. Respond to inquiries via phone, email and internal systems.
  3. Analyze Field inquiries and determine training and education solutions.
  4. Document and analyze system issues; develop and write requirements (JIRA).
  5. Support multiple products and workstreams simultaneously including but not limited to: Client Onboarding, New Accounts, eSign, regulatory including Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Know Your Client (KYC), SEC Regulation Best Interest (Reg BI).
  6. Translate overall business strategy into technical requirements to be developed.
  7. Collaborate with Business, Operations and Technology to ensure understanding of product strategy, roadmap, and work to be done.
  8. Prioritize work based on needs and constraints in an agile software development environment.
  9. Partner with program management to align status and milestones.
  10. Assist with audits and Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA).
  11. Present planned work to key stakeholders from business, technology, user experience, risk, fraud, communications, legal & compliance to obtain approvals.
  12. Gather internal and external feedback for insights.
  13. Facilitate workshops and meetings.
Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree will be a plus.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Product Management and Client Service, preferably in the financial services industry.
  3. Team lead experience is required.
  4. Series 7 a plus.
Required Skills:
  1. Strong customer service skills and ability to professionally communicate with Financial Advisors.
  2. Proven track record of delivering successful digital products on time and within scope.
  3. Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  4. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  5. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
