Proper Hospitality builds and operates a growing collection of luxury lifestyle hotels, restaurants and residences defined by design, culture, wellness and a strong sense of place, across Proper Hotels, By Proper and The Collective.

The Role
We’re seeking an experienced hotel operations leader to serve as Vice President, Portfolio Operations & Transformation, reporting to our Chief Operating Officer.

The role has two responsibilities: directly leading the operating performance of The Collective hotels, and improving how our broader portfolio operates. That means simplifying workflows, improving labor productivity, removing friction, and helping property teams adopt new technology and better ways of working.

We’re looking for an operator with strong commercial judgment, high standards and the ability to lead people through change. You should be equally comfortable working with a struggling GM, challenging an operating budget, and improving how the whole organization runs.

The VP works closely with our Corporate Director, Enterprise Operations, who oversees operating standards, labor models, systems and execution processes. The VP is accountable for translating those capabilities into measurable operating improvements and stronger property performance.
