Job summary

The Barton Partnership is seeking a VP of Portfolio Operations to join its Value Creation team in New York. You will work closely with investment professionals, operating partners, and portfolio company leaders to drive operational improvement and EBITDA growth across the portfolio lifecycle.

The role requires 8+ years in PE portfolio operations, consulting, or PE-backed healthcare services roles, with a track record of leading complex initiatives and communicating effectively with C-suite

Qualifications

• 8+ years across private equity portfolio operations, top-tier consulting, and operating roles within PE-backed healthcare services or pharma services.
• Exposure to healthcare operational improvement initiatives including revenue cycle optimization, reimbursement strategy, cost transformation, and AI/data-enabled process improvement.
• Proven experience leading complex operational initiatives with measurable financial and performance impact.
• Executive-level communication and stakeholder management experience working directly with C-suite executives, investors, and operating teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with investment professionals, fellow operating partners, and portfolio company leadership to drive operational improvement, EBITDA growth, and long-term value creation across the investment lifecycle.
• Lead and coordinate strategic initiatives across portfolio companies to ensure alignment with value creation plans.

The firm has built a high-performing portfolio of healthcare investments and is looking to add a hands-on operating executive to support strategic and performance initiatives across the platform.

This individual will partner closely with investment professionals, fellow operating partners, and portfolio company leadership teams to drive operational improvement, EBITDA growth, and long-term value creation across the investment lifecycle.

Must have:
