POSITION SUMMARY
The VP – PEO Sales is responsible for driving growth in the PEO retirement division of Slavic by promoting PEO MEP and PEP capabilities during prospecting stages and attending sales meetings and conferences. This role requires a strong understanding of key competitors and the ability to highlight competitive advantages in the PEO marketplace. The VP – PEO Sales will develop and implement a business plan to achieve sales and growth goals, conduct meetings to achieve sales targets, and establish productive relationships with PEOs, consultants, and financial advisors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of existing/targeted firms/institutions, how they operate, and our value proposition(s).
• Develop, direct, implement, and maintain a business plan to achieve sales and growth goals for your assigned area of responsibility.
• Conducts firm/institution meetings and in-person meetings to achieve sales targets. (e.g. due diligence meetings, one-on-one meetings, conference sponsorship and speaking opportunities).
• Establish and maintain a productive, working relationship with PEOs, and their consultants and financial advisors, with the goal of earning their retirement plan business and hit the target annual goals established.
• Remain current on PEO industry, technical aspects and product knowledge.
• Conduct the minimum requirement of meetings per month and document all meetings and opportunities in Salesforce.
• Work collaboratively with sales leadership to deliver RFPs, sales results, manage pipeline, and develop the territory assigned for long term success.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Strong knowledge of key competitors with the ability to highlight our competitive advantage in the PEO marketplace.
• Comprehensive knowledge of 401(k) service components, industry trends, fiduciary responsibility, PEO value proposition and emerging best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Polished and articulate salesperson with consultative selling style, leading to success in finalist presentations and speaking engagements.
• Excellent attention to detail, diligence, and adaptability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with superior time management skills.
Experience
• 10+ years’ experience in retirement plan recordkeeping sales required with a strong focus on 401(k) and PEO relationships.
• Proven experience in retirement plan sales working with financial advisors.
• 4+ years of Salesforce or similar CRM experience required
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field or additional equivalent work experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Overnight travel for onsite meetings, as needed.

What’s in it for you Package
This role will have a base pay range of $110,000 - $125,000 annual salary. Please know, this is the base range only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for this role. This position is also eligible for monthly bonus compensation opportunities and annual tiered bonus, both based on sales goals.
