Job Description
Summary of Position

The Vice President of Operations & Supply Chain provides executive leadership for Doka USA's Operations and Supply Chain functions and is responsible for developing and executing an integrated strategy that enables safe, efficient, reliable and scalable business operations.

The position has overall responsibility for the end-to-end flow and stewardship of material across the business, including demand and supply planning, inventory management, logistics and freight, distribution, yard operations, operational safety and continuous improvement. The VP partners closely with Finance, Procurement, Sales, Engineering and other business functions to ensure operational capabilities and resources are aligned with customer requirements and Doka's strategic and financial objectives.

As a member of the Doka USA Executive Management Team (EMT), the VP translates business strategy into operational priorities, balancing customer service and material availability with productivity, inventory utilization, working capital, cost, quality and risk. The position provides leadership to the Operations and Supply Chain organization and builds the organizational capabilities, processes, systems and talent necessary to support the future growth and performance of Doka USA.

Key Responsibilities

Partner closely with Finance, Procurement, and commercial leadership to improve forecasting and translate business demand into effective material and resource planning.
  • Operational Excellence & Transformation: Drive continuous improvement across operational processes, including productivity, material flow, yard layouts, equipment utilization, automation, digitalization and technology. Champion standardized processes while creating a culture of problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Safety, Quality & Risk: Provide executive oversight of operational safety and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and Doka standards. Promote a proactive safety culture focused on prevention, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Financial & Performance Management: Partner with the CFO and Finance organization in budgeting, forecasting, CapEx planning and operational performance management. Establish meaningful operational KPIs and use data to improve productivity, cost effectiveness, inventory performance and resource allocation.
  • Customer & Commercial Enablement: Ensure Operations and Supply Chain effectively support the commercial organization through reliable material availability, order fulfillment, delivery, returns, billing accuracy and service. Identify and address operational constraints that may impact customer experience or business growth.
  • Network & Capacity Strategy: Evaluate the effectiveness and capacity of Doka's operational footprint, including distribution centers, branches, yards, equipment, material flows and resource requirements. Develop recommendations regarding future capacity, investment, infrastructure and network optimization.
  • Leadership & Organizational Capability: Lead, develop and build a high-performing Operations and Supply Chain leadership team. Establish clear accountability, develop succession pipelines and ensure the organization has the capabilities required to meet current and future business requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a key strategic partner to Finance, Sales, Engineering, HR and other functions, ensuring Operations and Supply Chain priorities are integrated into broader business planning and decision-making.
