UCHealth is seeking a Vice President Operations for Ambulatory Surgery Centers to lead strategy, performance, and growth across our outpatient surgical network. This executive role oversees clinical operations, financial performance, and regulatory compliance while advancing patient-first, high-quality care. The VP partners closely with physicians, nursing, and hospital leadership to optimize access, efficiency, and safety. Responsibilities include setting operational goals, managing budgets, driving process improvement, leading teams, and supporting innovation aligned with UCHealth’s academic and community mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive leadership for UCHealth Ambulatory Surgery Center operations and strategy.
  • Oversee clinical quality, patient safety, and regulatory/accreditation compliance.
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial performance, and growth targets.
  • Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams across multiple ASC locations.
  • Drive process improvement, throughput, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and hospital leaders on service delivery and access.
  • Use data and performance metrics to guide decisions and report outcomes.
  • Align ASC initiatives with UCHealth’s patient-first, academic, and community-focused mission.
  • Ensure excellent patient experience, staff engagement, and culture of respect and inclusion.
  • Support innovation, technology adoption, and expansion of ambulatory surgical services.
