The Vice President, Operations is responsible for optimizing the organization's operational functions to ensure efficiency, profitability, and strategic alignment. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing cross-functional teams, driving process improvements, and implementing strategic initiatives that support growth, scalability, and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution

Collaborate with executive leadership to develop operational strategies that support overall business goals.
Translate company strategies into actionable operational plans and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Regularly assess operational performance and adjust strategies to meet targets and improve profitability.

Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement

Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Lead initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
Implement best practices in operations management and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Team Leadership and Development

Oversee and mentor department heads and managers, ensuring alignment and consistent performance.

Financial Oversight and Budget Management

Develop and manage budgets for the operations division, aligning financial resources with strategic priorities.

Risk Management and Compliance

Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards relevant to operations.

Oversee the supply chain and procurement functions within branch operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective sourcing.

Customer and Stakeholder Satisfaction

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies to drive business performance and efficiency.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and lead teams.
