Position Overview : Our client, a company specialized in high-performance industrial services, serving the oil, gas, and industrial sectors across North America is seeking a visionary and innovative Vice President of Technology to lead their technology strategy and spearhead the development of a patented SaaS model software.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in evaluating and assessing their technology strategy, enhancing intellectual property, and driving the growth of a development team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Technology Strategy : Evaluate and assess the overall technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
• Development Leadership : Lead and manage the development team, making decisions that enhance software performance, added value, and increase intellectual property (IP) value.
• SaaS Development : Spearhead the development of both the SaaS software model and the confined space camera system, focusing on innovation and quality.
• Team Assessment : Assess the current development team and implement necessary changes to optimize performance and capabilities.
• Patents and Innovation : Work on new patents related to the SaaS model software to ensure the company remains at the forefront of technology in the industry.
• Technical Expertise : Maintain hands-on development skills and contribute to the coding and product management processes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with operational liaisons and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of technology initiatives.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in a technology leadership role, preferably in the SaaS industry or related fields (e.g., construction, oil & energy, industrial services, manufacturing).
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and experience with Microsoft MAUI (.NET).
