The Role

As Regional Vice President of Sales for the New York City region, you will take a strategic leadership role, responsible not only for building your own book of business but also for leading a high-performing sales team.

This is a unique opportunity to act as a player-coach, mentoring and managing a team of Sales Directors while driving key relationships with major brands and agencies. You will be responsible for scaling our programmatic and data-driven advertising solutions across the US market, focusing on expanding Azerion’s proprietary offerings, including curated PMPs, cookieless ta

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Sales Directors, ensuring they meet or exceed revenue targets. Foster a high-performance culture, guiding the team in strategic sales tactics and business development.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Build and manage your own book of business, targeting senior decision-makers at top brands and agencies. Maximize revenue through Azerion’s programmatic media solutions, focusing on PMPs, creative solutions, and contextual and behavioral intelligence.
  • Go to Market Strategy: Play a crucial role in evolving and training our go-to-market approach, ensuring teams are equipped with the tools and insights needed for success. Help shape how we position, promote, and deliver our solutions to the market.
  • Strategic Client Engagement: Develop and maintain key relationships with agencies and brands, ensuring Azerion’s advertising and data solutions are integral to their media strategies.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Oversee the full sales process for high-value accounts, from prospecting to closing. Ensure strong post-sale account management to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaboration & Innovation: Partner with product, insights, and trading teams to create customized solutions for clients using Azerion’s unique audience insights and technology. Stay on top of industry trends and provide feedback to continuously enhance our product offerings.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Azerion at industry events and conferences, acting as a key ambassador to build brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.

Experience And Skills Requirements

  • Sales Leadership: Proven experience managing and developing sales teams, ideally within the adtech or digital media industries. Ability to mentor and lead a team of Sales Directors while also managing personal revenue targets.
  • Adtech Expertise: Extensive experience in programmatic media sales, with a strong background in selling data-driven solutions, including PMPs and creative formats.
  • Agency & Brand Relationships: Strong network of relationships with brands and agencies (both Holdco and independent) across the Northeast US market.
  • Cookieless & Behavioral Intelligence: Expertise in cutting-edge adtech solutions, including cookieless targeting, audience segmentation, and behavioral intelligence.
  • Proven Track Record: History of consistently exceeding revenue targets and managing complex sales cycles. Experience building long-term client relationships in highly competitive markets.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Strong ability to present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with exceptional negotiation skills to close high-value deals.

Salary Expectations

175,000-200,000 per year, plus commission
