Opportunity: Vice President of Revenue Management

Company Overview

Position Overview

Based in our Philadelphia headquarters or Washington DC area and reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the VP of Revenue Management will collaborate with the revenue, sales, distribution, marketing, and E-Commerce operations to drive strategy for the organization. The individual will serve as a key strategic partner to the Mid Atlantic Region as well as the HHM Hotels’ executive committee.

Core responsibilities include the following:

  • Driving commercial excellence for all hotels and ownership partners.
  • Developing and mentoring a team of best-in-class professionals focused on serving our hotel operators, general managers, and ownership partners.
  • Short and long-term revenue planning including recommendations to the senior executive team for driving results through process improvement, data analytics, and systems-thinking.
  • Ensuring best practices at levels of the commercial organization.

Top Line Operations:

  • Communicate and deploy revenue management initiatives to regional revenue managers and field team as part of overall optimization strategy.
  • Develop and coordinate sales, revenue, and marketing plans, set targets and objectives, monitor performance, and implement effective strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all customers, ensuring customer satisfaction, resolution of issues, and review of opportunities for revenue maximization.
  • Monitor industry and market trends, understand the competitive landscape and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats.Prepare regional rollup reports and trends.
  • Evaluate and refine initiatives and key performance indicators reports for continuous improvement in room revenue, profit and market share results.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Collaborate with our large and growing sales, revenue, marketing, and E-Commerce teams, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals.
  • Serve as a company leader that drives a culture of connectedness and rigor across the organization, and implements feedback from operations and ownership partners.
  • Set and maintain HHM Hotels’ standard of excellence, driving the team to deliver the highest caliber field support, serving the evolving needs of our hotels.
  • Carry a growth mindset around process improvement as well as taking on new challenges and continue to build our growth opportunities.
  • Oversee Regional Directors of Revenue and Area Directors of Revenue within your assigned portfolio.

Your Background and Skills

The desired candidate will possess a BA/BS in hospitality or business administration (or similar field). This candidate will be a seasoned hotel sales and revenue executive and have significant hospitality experience. They must be capable of performing across all topline areas of the organization with a personal focus on revenue generation, owner relations, budgeting, and forecasting, and financial analysis.
