The role emphasizes strengthening process control, first-pass yield, audits, and customer satisfaction, while developing quality leaders and ensuring compliance across facilities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical, Materials, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive quality assurance or quality engineering leadership experience within metals or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• MS or MBA preferred.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent quality certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Establish the enterprise quality strategy and operating framework across multiple manufacturing facilities, ensuring consistent standards, systems, and accountability.
• Strengthen manufacturing quality through standardized process controls, performance metrics, statistical methods, and disciplined corrective action.
• Serve as a senior quality leader for key customers, providing executive-level support for technical reviews, escalations, qualifications, and improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Operations and technical leadership to improve first-pass yield, reduce nonconformances and customer claims, and address systemic manufacturing issues.
• Maintain certification and customer compliance requirements while ensuring facilities remain prepared for audits, assessments, and evolving quality expectations.
• Build organizational capability by developing quality leaders and technical talent while establishing clear succession plans and performance expectations across the network.
