The Vice President of Investor Relations/Product Specialist is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all marketing materials and investor communications for SROA’s real estate funds. The focus will be on SROA’s funds and will spearhead multiple projects. The VP will spend significant time with the senior leadership team including acquisitions, asset management, legal/compliance and finance.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Vice President will join SROA’s investor relations team in West Palm Beach. This team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all marketing materials and investor communications for SROA’s real estate funds. The Vice President will focus on SROA’s funds and will spearhead multiple projects at one time employing a range of skill sets. The Vice President will spend significant time with members of the firm’s senior leadership team, including the acquisitions, asset management, legal/compliance, and finance teams. The main areas of responsibility for the role include:

  • Marketing materials and investor communications: work collaboratively with business leaders and various teams within SROA to create and maintain presentation materials, investor reporting, and other investor communications (e.g., webinars, video content, other investor memoranda)
  • Investor due diligence: respond to investor queries and complete due diligence questionnaires
  • New product launches: contribute to business development initiatives and assist with strategic planning for new fund launches (including co-investments), production of presentation materials, private placement memoranda, and handling investor due diligence
  • Support fundraising team and senior leadership: assist with the production of talking points, investor update calls, industry conferences, ad hoc presentations, and strategic projects
  • Product knowledge: become an expert on SROA’s funds and investments
  • Team player: contribute to collegial team work environment

Qualifications:

SROA seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and time management skills, the successful candidate must have:

  • 6+ years of professional experience
  • Prior work experience in investment banking, investor relations and/or real estate private equity is preferred
  • Highly motivated (a self-starter) with demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors
  • Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments
  • Ability to produce creative, compelling, detailed materials and information for existing and prospective investors; strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to write effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Leadership and strong project management capabilities
  • Candidate should be able to quickly pivot between a variety of projects and be a team-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment
  • Strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to learn
  • Operate with the highest degree of professional integrity, motivation, and intellectual curiosity
