Position Summary

The Vice President of Technology & Information Security provides strategic leadership for Pressley Ridge’s and all of its subsidiaries enterprise technology, information systems, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President develops and executes a technology strategy aligned with the organization’s mission, strategic priorities, operational needs, and long-term growth.

Responsibilities
  • Support
    • Enterprise Technology Strategy & Innovation
      • Develops and executes a multi-year enterprise technology strategy aligned with the organization’s strategic plan and operational priorities.
      • Leads technology modernization, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, automation, and other emerging technology initiatives.
      • Evaluates and prioritizes technology investments based on organizational value, risk, scalability, and return on investment.
      • Serves as the senior technology advisor to the executive team and organizational leadership.
    • Technology Operations & Infrastructure
      • Provides oversight of enterprise applications, infrastructure, networks, telecommunications, end-user technology, and IT service delivery.
      • Ensures technology systems are reliable, scalable, integrated, and appropriately supported across all seven states.
      • Establishes enterprise technology standards, architecture, policies, and service expectations while addressing operational needs.
      • Oversees major technology implementations, system integrations, upgrades, vendors, and technology-related organizational transitions.
  • Quality Improvement
    • Establishes an enterprise approach to data management, data governance, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
    • Partners with Finance and operational leadership to improve the availability, accuracy, and usability of information for decision-making.
    • Identifies opportunities to use technology, automation, analytics, and artificial intelligence to improve financial and operational performance.
    • Promotes technology solutions that provide actionable information and measurable outcomes across the organization.
    • Establishes performance measures for IT service delivery, technology projects, cybersecurity, systems availability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Communication
    • Communicates technology strategy, priorities, risks, and initiatives clearly and effectively.
    • Builds strong partnerships across Finance, Operations, Clinical, Human Resources, Quality, and other functions to ensure technology solutions are aligned with organizational needs.
    • Translates complex technical, cybersecurity, data, and systems issues into clear business implications and actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
    • Establishes effective communication practices for technology projects, system changes, cybersecurity events, and organizational transitions, ensuring stakeholders are informed and appropriately engaged.
  • Growth
    • Develops scalable technology solutions and infrastructure capable of supporting organizational growth while maintaining appropriate levels of security, reliability, integration, and cost effectiveness.
    • Evaluate technology requirements and risks associated with new programs, acquisitions, transitions, and other strategic initiatives.
    • Continuously evaluates emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, automation, data solutions, and digital capabilities to identify opportunities to increase capacity and improve efficiency.
  • Supervision
    • Receive supervision.
      • Receive supervision from and actively communicate with supervisor on an ongoing basis throughout the week by phone, email, written message and when possible, in person regarding program matters.
    • Provides supervision.
      • Supervise staff directly or their supervisors depending upon the personnel's actions including action plans, hiring, terminations, recruitment, vacation and sick day requests. Ensures that staffing is qualified and provides quality services within the department.
  • Leadership
    • Develops and manages IT operating and capital budgets, ensuring resources are aligned with organizational priorities and financial objectives.
    • Promotes a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and shared accountability across the technology team.
    • Leads, develops, and holds direct reports accountable.
    • Identifies and develops internal talent, succession plans, and career pathways to support the long-term strength and stability of the IT function.
  • Documentation
    • Establishes standards for the accurate, consistent, secure, and timely documentation of technology systems, processes, policies, and procedures.
    • Ensures critical technology, security, infrastructure, and vendor information is appropriately documented and maintained to support continuity and organizational resilience.
    • Maintains appropriate documentation to support regulatory compliance, audits, cybersecurity requirements, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Risk Management and Safety
    • Provides leadership for cybersecurity, information security, privacy, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
    • Ensures appropriate safeguards protect organizational, employee, financial, and client information.
    • Establishes and monitors an enterprise technology risk management framework, including access controls, vulnerability management, incident response, and security awareness.
    • Partners with leadership and compliance functions to address regulatory, contractual, privacy, and security requirements.
  • Professional Development
    • Establishes professional development priorities that strengthen technical expertise, cybersecurity capabilities, leadership skills, and emerging technology competencies.
Qualifications
  • Education/Credentials/Licensure:
    • Requires a bachelor’s degree in information technology, information management systems, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
    • Requires a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and current auto insurance.
  • Experience:
    • Requires ten (10) years of Information Technology experience.
    • Requires five (5) years of experience in management.
  • Clearances Required by Applicable Regulations:
    • State Police
    • FBI
    • Child Abuse Clearances
    • Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training certificate and/or statement
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands
    • This position requires operating a keypad device 100% of the day and electronic/office equipment 100% of the day. Travel is required approximately 5 times per month and may require travel by plane. Fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists, elbows, legs and feet are all routinely used throughout the day. The upper torso is used 100% of the day. Employee must meet minimum requirements for hearing, speech, and vision. Standing and walking can occur depending on tasks. Sitting happens 100% of the day. Reaching above the shoulder as well as bending and twisting are performed 25% of the day. The maximum lift is 5 pounds, 1-5 times per day.
